One thing to consider when purchasing this particular vest is that it can withstand up to 25 washings before it will need to be replaced. However, you do get ideal protection for those 25 washings.

There is a plain lime green vest that is a lime nylon mesh with black borders. This is obviously going to increase safety, but because it does not meet ANSI compliancy, these should be used sparingly. There is none of those reflective strips to help reflect oncoming lights, and while this is cheap, you will find it does not offer the same protection as the ANSI Class II lime reflective vest.

Either will work depending on need, but one is going to be great for heavy-duty purposes.
